This is an experimental piece I did in which I used paint, collage and video mediums together. A lot of what we see in the media has been layered and manipulated so much, it's hard to know what's real and what's not. I think this short film, explores the idea of manipulating and creating texture directly to the subject to create different feels, messages and images on the screen.
This is a PSA Inger made at film school on child violence for the VUKA awards in 2004. We shot on 16mil, the animations are by a guy called Hendrik Gericke.
A short experimental film exploring ideas of belonging, the need to fit in, the labels we place on ourselves and others as well as the need to find spaces in this world that we can call our own and feel safe in.
I am currently a student at the University of Cape Town. For my third year Psychology project I attempt a demonstration in Operant Conditioning with my dog Milu, using the clicker technique. All comments and constructive criticism are welcome.
